Kalinga Trauma Hospital (KTH) is a 50 bedded ISO certified hospital established in 2007.It is situated in Bypass road,Civil Township,Rourkela in Sundergarh district.

Hospital is well connected by road for local buses and four wheelers.It is about 5.5 km from Rourkela railway station and 6 km from main bus stand. KTH is the first hospital in western Odisha catering to all sorts of orthopaedics cases.

The Kalinga Trauma Hospital has five major and two minor operation theatres to cater surgical care to patients. The OT complex has five pre-operative and 10 post-operative beds for the pre and post surgical care of the patients.

An operation theatre is a potential source of hospital infection. Hence the OT complex has four zones, to maintain the sterile environment. These zones are the

2) Protective zone

3) Clean zone and Sterile zone

Analyses of serum and other body fluids are measured for routine and specific assays for both inpatients and outpatients. Biochemistry department constitute new generation laboratory, full equipped with state of the art technology connected to the whole hospital via pneumatic suite for hassle free and faster diagnosis of samples.

The Department of Radiology at KTH offers a wide variety of diagnostic radiology examinations and interventional procedures, each providing state-of-the-art technology. The Department provides a wide array of diagnostic imaging tests ranging from conventional X-Ray to multi-detector CT (MDCT), 3 T MRI/S and PET. A variety of image-guided treatment choices, such as RF ablation of liver tumors, uterine fibroid embolization, kyphoplasty and occlusion of intracranial aneurysms are also available.
